Reservations and payment
On our website www.mediterraneanway.es and through our automatic system you can see the availability and prices of the apartment or house and thanks to our on-line payment system you can make the reservation of the holiday home paying 40% of the price of the rental or in other case, you can make the reservation by bank transfer within a maximum period of 48 hours. After this time, our team will cancel the reservation. The expenses originated by this payment method will be charged to the client.
Secure payment: Mediterranean Way works with the Redsys payment system, which guarantees maximum security in your online payments. Mediterranean Way will not see at any time your bank details which will be visible exclusively to the bank.
Confirmation of the reservation: Once the 50% payment has been made, the reservation will be confirmed instantly and you will receive an email from Mediterranean Way with all the details of the accommodation. (full address, check-ins / check-outs, information, dates, etc.)
Cancellations will be accepted through our e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org following the following conditions:
– The client will have to pay 50% of the price of the reservation if he cancels before 30 days of the arrival date.
– The client will have to pay the total price of the reservation if he cancels during the 30 days before the arrival date.
– If the guest doesn’t show up they will be charged the total price.
Mediterranean Way works with a deposit of between € 150 to € 500 depending on the level of accommodation. The money will be retained in the account and in the case of any damage caused by misuse by the customer, will be deducted from the deposit.
Check-ins / Check-outs
The arrivals and departures in high season of our accommodations are on Saturdays.
Tickets: The hours of reception of the clients and the collection of keys will be in the apartment itself from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Our accommodations are not available before 4:00 p.m.
* Late Check-ins: Mediterranean Way offers a service of arrivals from 20:00 with an additional cost of € 50.
Upon arrival at the accommodation, you must give the staff of our team the booking form and we will proceed to identify all the occupants of the accommodation according to the law ORDER IRP / 418/2010, of August 5, on the obligation of registration and communication to the General Directorate of the Police of the persons who stay in the lodging establishments located in Catalonia. (DOGC No. 5693 published on 08/16/2010)
Then the owner of the reservation will sign the temporary rental contract and pay the remaining 60% plus € 25.00 management fees and the tourist tax of € 0.99 per day of stay and person over 16 years with a maximum of 7 days. (Law 5/2017 of 28/3/17, O.G.C. No. 7340 of 03/30/17) and the deposit. You can pay this 60% by credit card or cash.
The house is delivered clean and with all the necessary utensils except for reasons of hygiene, liquids or utensils that tend to be wet like rags, cloths, etc.
Sheets and towels are included in the rental price.
Check-outs: The departure time of the accommodations is from 8:00 to 10:00. A member of Mediterranean Way team will arrive at your accommodation at the agreed time to check the condition of the apartment, collect the keys and return your deposit.
At the time of check-out previously agreed, tenants must be prepared with the accommodation collected and clean. It is the responsibility of the tenant to leave the house in the conditions that found it upon arrival.
Pets are allowed in specific apartments, so you must inform Mediterranean Way at the time of booking for authorization.
The client commits to respect the regulations of the neighboring communities where they stay so during the period from 22:00 to 8:00, it is not allowed to disturb the neighborhood with celebrations or noises that disturb the rest of the neighbors.
The maximum capacity of our accommodations will be informed at all times, so it is not allowed to exceed this capacity.
Mediterranean Way cares about the environment and repels all consumption that is not rational. The air conditioning should be turned off when the clients are not in the accommodation.
Minors must always be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians and under their responsibility.
The pool schedule is marked by each Community. It is the responsibility of the client to respect the schedules and maintain a good behavior inside the pool, such as using inflatable mattresses inside the pool, balls, etc.
Neither Mediterranean Way, nor the owner of the home will be responsible for any direct or indirect damage that may be caused as a result of misuse of accommodation, including without limitation: destruction, theft, accidents, loss after incense or other types of damage.
Mediterranean Way works every day to provide our clients with the best of stays. If at any time of the stay, for reasons of use, there is a breakdown in the accommodations or electrical appliances, you must immediately notify our Mediterranean Way team to resolve the incident as soon as possible.
Should there be any case of circumstances beyond one’s control in which the client could not make a normal life within the accommodation, Mediterranean Way will replace the reserved accommodation with another of the same characteristics. In the case of not having availability, Mediterranean Way will reimburse you the total amount delivered.
